In Oct 31, 2018, Doctor Manfred Wagner from Max Planck Institute for Polymer Research was invited to give an academic report in the School of Textiles and Clothing in Jiangnan University. Doctor Manfred Wagner is the project leader in Max Planck Institute for Polymer Research as well as the director in NMR Research Centre. He obtained his Ph.D. degree from Max Planck Institute for Polymer Research in 1993, and then continued to study the synthesis and analysis of polymer in Max Planck Institute for Polymer Research.
In the report, Doctor Manfred Wagner introduced the latest carbon nanomaterials using in medical and health fields and explained the accurate analytical method and strategy of thermosensitive color-changing microcapsules and photosensitive azobenzene compound using nuclear magnetic instruments.
The report provided some guiding comments to our students on the application of nanotechnology in smart textile materials.
